Moscato D'Asti by Massimo Bona of Cuneo - Italy - is a hand selected treasure with the highest goverment designation - D.O.C.G, that is Grand CRU.
It is made from the Moscato Canelli Grapes. The fermentation of this wine is arrested earlier than a Spumante. The product is then called "frizzante"; It is gentler and richer in natural sweetness and smoother in carbonation than that of Asti Spumante. In addition, by DOCG regulations, it is lower in alcohol.
Our Moscato D'Asti has a natural balance of peach and apricot-sweetness with a cleansing surge of acidity.
Piedmont is a stronghold of tradition, renowned for wines from native varieties grown in vineyards that have been cultivated with devotion for centuries. Notably, the wines that have long driven the wine economy of Piedmont are the sweet white Spumantes and Moscatos made in the vineyards South of Turin and Asti.
